How do I give permission for a Program to a User Group?

Use the Admin Tools, User Group & Program page

  • Search for your Program using the Quick Access Menu
  • Click EDIT next to Give Permission To

In the Give Permission To popup window:

  • Select the User Group(s) to assign permission
  • Click SAVE

How do I assign a Role to one of my Users? How do I assign a User Group to one of my Users?

Roles are now assigned to a User Group and the User Group is assigned to the User

Assign a Role to a User Group:

On the Admin Tools, User Group & Program page:

  • Select the User Group with the Quick Access Menu
  • Click EDIT next to Roles

In the Roles popup window:

  • Select the Roles to be available to the selected User Group
  • After you have selected a Role checkbox, you will notice circles next to each Role – select one Role to be the default role for this User Group
  • Only Roles of the modules assigned to the User Group will display – if you want Roles from other modules, click the EDIT button next to the Group Name and select additional modules
  • Click SAVE

Assign a User Group to a User

There are two ways to do this –

If you are adding multiple users to a user group, this is the easiest way:

On the User Group & Program page:

  • Select the User Group with the Quick Access Menu
  • Click EDIT next to Users

In the Users popup window:

  • Select User(s) to be member of the User Group
  • Click SAVE

OR to add one User to the User Group:

On the User page:

  • Select the User with the Quick Access menu
  • Click EDIT next to User Group

In User Groups popup window:

  • Select User Group(s)
  • Click SAVE
